St Basil’s Homes is seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to deliver efficient and professional administrative support while providing outstanding service. What You’ll Do As the first point of contact, you will be the face of St Basil’s, creating a professional, welcoming, and supportive environment for residents, visitors, families, and staff. This role combines front-of-house excellence with high-level administrative support, working closely with site Leaders and the Corporate Administration team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will contribute across a broad range of functions including reception, administration, marketing, communications, and rostering support. Main Duties & Responsibilities - Provide professional reception services, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house experience.
- Act as the first point of contact, greeting and directing visitors and supporting residents, families, and staff.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly and courteously addressing phone, email, and in-person inquiries, screening and redirecting as appropriate.
- Maintain a calm, professional, and well-presented reception environment at all times.
- Provide high-quality administrative support to site Leaders and departments to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Support Corporate Administration functions as required, including marketing, communications, reporting, and general administration.
- Assist with managing daily roster changes and unplanned leave, to ensure effective and responsive roster management.
What You Will Bring to the Role - A compassionate and empathetic approach to residents and their families.
- An appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity.
- 3 to 5 years of customer service and/or administrative experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn various other systems (e.g., quality management systems, databases, and rostering systems).
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Exceptional customer service focus with a professional and courteous approach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support Leaders and work collaboratively across both site-based and Corporate teams.
